TWIST'ER
IN PLUG PRINCIPLE:
The
TWIST'ER plug works by movable thread gage segments that engage one flank
angle, while the thread body engages the opposite thread flank angle of the
product thread. The resultant flank grip establishes the functional size
and/or functional thread axis of the part, depending on how the twister plug
is fabricated.
